Job Description

We have a fantastic vacancy for an experienced typist to join our expanding team in Newcastle. This is a multi-faceted role comprising various duties, such as producing high quality documentation with speed and accuracy, liaising with third parties and ensuring a first class service is afforded to internal and external stakeholders. It is therefore essential that you are confident with IT and Microsoft office software packages, especially Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint and is also confident at being pro-active and using your time effectively.

Location: Newcastle
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one hour break (35 hours)
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.

Requirements

• Confident with IT and Microsoft office software packages, especially Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
• Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to produce concise business correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility/ adaptability to cope with change.
• A team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Audio Typing with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
• Maintain client records on the company software and ensure the client and firm's files are well presented, accurate and compliant.
• Taking phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them where appropriate.
• Client correspondence, written and verbal.
• Delivering back office, reception and administration support where needed.

Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.
